Well according to SRO’s facebook page today they don’t expect to be reopen until the end of June. But have no fear I may have an alternative hang that’s a lot like SRO inside & you won’t have to drive far to get there. It’s a small, hole in the wall gay bar with fun people, a pool table, a jukebox and it’s in San Diego!
It’s a place called Cheers. Yup, same as the old TV show, if you never went then you’re missing out on an SRO alternative hang. Message me if you want to know more about Cheers. I’ve been there close to a dozen times, always had a good time & was well treated. And I was the only trans chick in the place too.
